What a headache Do not buy

Bought at Home Depot. Nice looking. Too many errors. Most frustrating microwave we have ever owned. After just 2 months the microwave would black out for 1/2 hour if cooking something for more than 3 minutes and would the reset itself when it felt like it. Repair came out and replaced the entire control buttons panel and fuse per diagnosis while explaining to us he didnt understand why theyd send us that because it didnt sound like those parts were our issue. The VERY next day when trying to use the sensor cooking option it kept throwing an f-4 humidity sensor error 15 seconds into the cooking cycle. I did a live chat via LG app for 1 hour because they take 10mins to respond to each text but couldnt set up a new appointment until the repair man closed and approved the case from the day before. Two weeks later was able to make an appointment. Sears is in control of when your repairs and appointments will be. Good luck trying to change it. Theyll give you a repair date and a rediculous full 8hr window for repair before the parts are shipped. If you dont like that too bad You can not call to change until after you receive the parts in the mail. It takes way too long to have this appliance fixed. Live chat agents will not allow you to request a new microwave and barely understand English enough to process the input youre giving them. At first I thought they were responses by bots. They said thats up to the repair technician not the manufacturer to decide on replacements. If this doesnt work Im gonna have to send a formal complaint to the BBB a letter to the LG CEO in hopes that this issue will be addressed and make an entire YouTube/tiktoc/fb live video explaining just how bad this whole process has been so no one else will make the same buying mistake.

Our previous microwave which was in good working order suddenly sounded like a big bang and died. Wanted a replacement quickly so went to home depot. Truthfully just needed a microwave without all the other things such as air fryers Etc and a basic hood range built in. Love the look of this microwave. Definitely a great buy love the sleek design and ThinQ app is great features for all LG appliances and I like being able to preset my Microwave nightlight on and off hours so I do not have to manage another item and not waste energy. The list of presets and power modes are easy to use and so far accurate for cooking food times. I even like on the app you can scan food bar code and it will be able to accurately cook premade foods easier. Overall vent and microwave good quality. We love the 4 speed and boost mode on hood. Easy convertible from recirculating to vented.

Best OTR Microwave EVER.

Purchased this less than a month ago and so far love it. Especially like the control layout. All the vent and light controls and the 1-touch minute controls are located on the right. Opening up the door displays each of the pre-programmed functions with the corresponding numbers. For example pressing the Reheat feature and #4 reheats pizza. This is our 2nd LG OTR microwave which made installing this a breeze. We decided to update our OTR microwave after 20 years The ONLY thing I can think of improving would be stiffer e.g. cardboard templates for placing the back and top mounting and to keep them separate instead of on opposite sides of a thin sheet of paper. Except for that small suggestion we are VERY PLEASED with our new 2 cu ft microwave. All our major appliances are LG washer dryer oven refrigerator/freezer and 70 OLED TV are all LG because the quality and long-term reliability of LG products are unsurpassed. We highly recommend LG products and in particular this microwave.

Dont buy very poor quality

The first time I tried to use the reheat sensor setting the microwave only heated for a few seconds and displayed a F-4 Humidity sensor error. Called LG and they sent out an appliance repair man. The appliance repair man said that the microwave had to be removed to replace the humitity sensor and that they dont do that. This microwave was less than a month old and I paid $200 to have it installed. Apparently if I want it repaired I have to pay someone to take down the microwave and then pay someone to reinstall the microwave after it gets repaired. The company I purchased it from Urners Bakersfield CA and LG are unwilling to do anything about removing and reinstalling this microwave so it can get repaired.

prodcut had to get exhcnaged orignally because it came damaged out the box. The replacment came slightly dented as well but did not want to wait another 7 days to get another microwave. Luckily the exchange was just a small ding on the side. Installers said its because they get thrown in the truck. So far everything works and its doing its job.

When you turn the stove on to cook the exhaust fan automatically comes on. I love this feature that they both work together. I would recommend LG products to anyone. Quality products.

great when it worked.

We bought this microwave and had it installed February 1st It worked for a month. It was not heating the food. Now we are having to deal with getting it fixed which has been a nightmare. its July and we still dont have a working microwave. still going threw the process of getting it fixed. Thanks LG.

A simple microwave that works.

We also bought an LG stove with all the extra features convection air fry so we didnt need anything more than a basic microwave. This was the perfect size for the space we had. Most microwaves were 1/2 to 1 inch taller and the previous owner had tiled the wall almost all the way up to the old microwave.

Great Brand but service sucks

All my appliances brand are LG I purchased the microwave in September 2022 dont remember exact date. Last week the number touch button didnt work but it works through LG apps. I called the customer service for repair service and she gave me the repair fee for $300 which I purchased the microwave for $269. thats really funny.
