Lcd display has gone out twice and is now out of warranty. Purchased microwave in July 2022. In march 2023 lcd display went out and was replaced under warranty. Now 8 months later the display is acting up again and I am being told it did not come with a warranty. Repair tech that came out said it was a common issue. Now I have to pay to have a known defective part replaced again or buy a new microwave.

Bought this in September of 2020 but couldnt have it installed until March of 2021. The front by the LG pops is popping off which was just cosmetic but one of the number is blinking and now the inside of the door had a plastic piece break off so the door separates a bit. The best part about this microwave is that the popcorn button works really well.

The oven seems to cook well so far. The major down side is this microwave has a rather load beep for eachbutton press and when its done. There is no way to adjust the volume or silence it. The keypad takes quite a bit of pressure as well.

Third time now this microwave just stopped working. Have had service out twice. First fix lasted maybe a week. Second time out they found a wire that was burnt repaired it and now has been a few months. Very disappointed. Just replaced my oven dishwasher and fridge with LG appliances which all seem to be operating fine so far. Feeling like I got a lemon with this microwave. Agree with other reviewers that buttons are hard to push and light below it is practically useless.

I bought this less than a year ago. The microwave works well but it is not very fingerprint proof. The hood suction is almost nonexistent. It blows hard through the vent but traps no steam or odors because it is not pulling anything through the filters. Tech came out and said it was working as it should.

I purchased my LG Microwave approximately one year ago. I actually love my microwave and it works well. My issue is the timer/clock. It doesnt give me the entire time because parts of the numbers are blinking or not working at all. Its hard for me to see how much time I have left when warming or cooking in this microwave. With the exception of taking it down and sending it to the manufacturer for repairs does anyone know how I can fix this issue. If I have to remove it I will replace it and it will not be replaced with another LG.

I am pleased with the power and ease of use. The only negative is the bottom light is almost non existent. I reviewed the wattage and changed my 30 watt to a 40 watt max bulb. With the heavy cover in place it does little to illuminate my skillet below as a senior this is very important to me. I have a newer home with LED lights galore but I block the direct ceiling light to the stove top and need the hood light. May I suggest adding 2 lights in the future as I have had before.

The control panel is very dark it is hard to see what buttons to push it needs a backlight also the buttons are hard to get going. They Need to be more sensitive to the touch. Purchased this a month ago. So far weve had no issues it heats uniformly and is easy to clean. Installation was straight forward and simple although it would have been nice if the electric cord was closer to the back corner lose less cabinet space. The buttons are firm and require more force to select than my previous unit but were getting used to it. The exterior black stainless finish blends well with the other appliances. Overall a nice addition to the kitchen.

When we remodeled their kitchen we bought this LG stove and microwave. I didnt even know it had a built-in air fryer. Id love my oven. It cooks very evenly and quick clean is a breeze .. my only complaint was the light that came in the microwave was so dim it made it hard to see when cooking on the stove and I had to replace it with an LED light.. The top of the stove cleans very nicely although the rubber gasket along the edges of the top does tend to catch crumbs

Does the Basics Flawlessly

One year in with this microwave and not one problem. I dont really use this for major cooking. It is my go to appliance for when Im in a hurry and need something fast. Makes me want to buy more LG kitchen appliances.

Within the first year the light bulb burnt out. Then the next year the digital display is flickering and the entire door assembly has come unglued and falling apart.

Beautiful and User Friendly

To be honest I bought this microwave because I had just purchased a new LG refrigerator which I love and I wanted to replace my 2016 microwave to match. I love it It is beautiful and so easy to clean. It is very user friendly. My previous one was not. Most guests did not understand how to use it. I love the Hold Warm feature. What a great idea. I know this may sound crazy but I am thrilled to get actual manuals delivered with the LG appliances that I have purchased I have not purchased LG appliances in the past but I will continue to do so in the future.

LED Display Issue

Purchased less than a year ago and the LED display started flickering. The computer board had to be replaced. Glad it was still under warranty.

Bought this in October 2020 had to have the Magnetron and Diode replaced in 2021 and now the Magnetron is burned out again as of August 2022.
