I do not like the quick set buttons for 1 minute, 2 minutes, or 3 minutes of time. I do not care for having to hit the stop button before I can open the microwave. My prior Kitchen Aid microwave did not have these features and it was a higher end product. I also do not like the full black outside as it always has fingerprints on it and I need to constantly clean it.

Has child lock. Turned on. Should be option for parents with young kids. On other hand young kids should not be in kitchen and need to be watched. Not forced on everyone. Dislikes is child lock and having to open door to heat something for a little bit longer after it rings/runs. Coming back with dish inside. Outside nice look. Push button open. Cooking is microwave side normal. Air fry nice option to keep less on countertop. Close option to a small air fry. Not as good as toaster oven air fryer. If going for looks. Good choice. Last year had more accessories for the air fryer

So very unhappy with this microwave. I bought this microwave to save space between and air fryer and microwave. I have been waiting 14 months for the air fryer basket and have yet to receive one. I have called numerous times to be told it was on back order. This has been a major disappointment out of all the KA appliances I own. I'm a kitchen designer and will never recommend this unit!

We love this microwave! We installed it in a cabinet with a trim kit. It is very attractive and saves countertop slave. The functions are simple to use. Comes with air fryer functions and basket. Cooks evenly. Easy to clean.

Turnstile is noisy at times. If you use the accessories as suggested for air fry, you have to remove the accessories with the food (very hot) in order to turn the food over because it is so high in the unit. Preheating takes a long time. Consistency and evenness is very good.

I wish I would have purchased a regular microwave and air fryer instead of this All-in-one microwave. I would have saved a lot of money and frustration. The instruction guide is limited and does not give instructions on how to prepare the food to be cooked. Do I coat the potatoes with oil before using the air fryer as I did in my old air fryer? Seems like you should, but I will just have to go by my best guess.. There has been too much guesswork and trial and error involved with a microwave that cost $1000.00

Owner's Manual a Total Puzzle To Read

So far the instructions seem to have never been proofread by KitchenAid. The use of words seem to be translated by someone who recently learned English. An example of not proofreading the instructions can be found on page 18, There are two sub-sections both titled,: "For Manual Bake: to use Preheat:" However the first sub-section is how to use pre-heat and the second section is how to not use pre-heat. On page 12 under defrost the direct quote is "The defrost function helps that frozen food." This is just pathetic. There is no overall explanation of how to choose pure convection (bake) verses convection with microwave (Roast) as the button for both is labeled "Bake/Roast" Best I can tell you choose by choosing a food category instead of a cooking method. Also the oven doesn't seem to have a way to choose two different microwave powers and times. Our prior KitchenAid Microwave/Convection oven did, and I expected this one to do it too.

I purchased a a new kitchen aid microwave with air fry function in 2023. While using one of the preset air fry functions with the tray that is designed to be used with this function caught on fire (see photos). Luckily I was close by and the fire was contained to the inside of the microwave. I called customer service, since it was out of warranty, they were not willing to replace the unit, which is very unfortunate.

It will ship separately upon completion of the steps below at no additional cost. How to Redeem: 1. Register your appliance online at regster.kitchenaid.com Be sure to enter a valid email address. 2. Once registered, you will receive an email with instructions on how to claim your offer. Registration was confirmed on May 11, 2025. On June 10, I received a thank you for my recent order & "our goal" is to make your appliance parts order as clear & easy as possible, so we want to let you know what to expect. What to expect: When your part(s) have shipped we will contact you by email with tracking information. As of 8/4/2025 have not received said email.
